Frequently Asked Questions

How is Entitlement Management Server (EMS) integrated into an existing web site.
A small piece of code called the EMS Agent is placed on your website that takes control over the web pages on that site.

When the user clicks on a web page, the EMS Agent encrypts the page and delivers it to the client after processing the EMS Electronic License.

The authentication engine of the current web site sends SOAP transactions to the EMS server. The EMS server tracks the activity of each user on the web site.
