Maxtech International becomes online publisher using Cranium Softworks

Maxtech International has successfully migrated Infrared Imaging News from print to online using the Cranium Suite of online publishing tools.
- CCP manages the editorial process and creates the online publication
- EMS processes the e-commerce transactions, manages subscriber profiles and and assures that only valid subscribers access premium content.
Moving Infrared Imaging News to the web has allowed Maxtech International to generate additional revenue:
- Sale of archived issues
- Premium subscriptions with print rights
- Online sales of individual issues
The deployment of EMS has allowed Maxtech to protect its online intellectual property. With subscribers across the world, it is increasing important for online publishers to have the appropriate tools to protect their intellectual property. Web pages are encrypted to prevent downloads and forwarding. User Id's and passwords are tracked to prevent password sharing. Maxtech has identified subscribers that have shared user id's and has taken corrective measures.
